Peristaltic Fluid Pump with Silicone Hose - Adafruit

Peristaltic fluid pumpsThe difference from other pumps is that it compresses the liquid in the soft hose inside the pump while the wheels mounted in the shape of clover are rotated by the motor and ensures its flow. In this way, the liquid is pumped without touching any mechanical part of the engine. This method is used, for example, in blood pumps, the food industry, and other hygienic or chemical environments where impermeability is required. Since a reducer is used on the motor side, it is used with strong torque and low speed. Water can be pumped into half a meter of air with the motor driver and the pump with adjustable flow rate with PWM. As with some other types of pumps, a pre-charge is not required.

Note:It comes with two 50cm long silicone hoses inside the pump and assembled. These hoses are NOT STERILE in any way and are not suitable for use in food or items that will touch human health. Sterile tubing suitable for food, beverage or sterile applications should be provided.
