Force Sensitive Square Sensor 1.5 inch

Force sensitive resistors, which are a passive component, decrease in resistance values in proportion to the force applied to the active square area of 38mm * 38mm. In this way, it is ensured that the force or pressure can be detected.

PFT (Polymer Thick Film) device can detect forces in the range of a few grams to 10 kg in touch-controlled electronic devices. The product can be easily used in touch interface projects and various robotic applications.

In the tests carried out on the product, it was observed that it created a resistance of 1M ürün when no force was applied on the product, and 50kΩ when a force of 20gram was applied. When the highest possible force is applied to the product, the value of 200Ω is reached. The values occurring against the applied force have high consistency.

It has been observed in the tests that the product produces constant values in repeated constant force applications. The resistance value range of the product can work directly with the internal pull-ups found in many microcontrollers such as AVR and PIC.

The product is sensitive enough to detect light quick touches and vibration of small vibration motors.

The pin range of the product is suitable for use in breadboards.

Note:The product is not suitable for sensitivity and strength measurements. Force accuracy range can vary from 5% to 25% under various conditions. The resolution is better than 0.5% of the entire value range.
