That can monitor 22 satellites with up to 66 channels and has an internal antenna. You can make up to 10 location changes per second for high speed, high precision logging or monitoring. Power usage is incredibly low, only 20 mA while navigating.

Best of all, we've added extra goodies you might never want: an ultra-low dropout 3.3V regulator so 3.3-5VDC, 5V-level safe inputs can be powered by ENABLE pin so you can turn off the module in any way. Microcontroller pin or switch, a footprint for the optional CR1220 coin cell, keeps the RTC running and allows hot start, and tiny bright red LED. The LED flashes at approximately 1Hz when searching for satellites and flashes every 15 seconds if a correction to save power is found. If you want to use an LED continuously, we also provide the FIX signal on a pin so you can put an external LED.

Two features that really stand out about the Version 3 MTK3339 based module are the external antenna functionality and the built-in data logging capability. The module has a standard ceramic patch antenna that delivers -165 dB sensitivity but when you want to have a larger antenna you can attach to any 3V active GPS antenna via the uFL connector. The module automatically detects the active antenna and switches! Most GPS antennas use SMA connectors; Therefore, you may want to buy one of our uFL to SMA adapters.
