Tamiya 70168 Double Gearbox Kit - Double DC Motor Gear Box - Pololu - 114

Tamiya Double Gearbox Double Gear Boxis a compact unit consisting of two independent motors and gearboxes. The kit includes two dc motors and all gear and parts to create any of the four possible gear ratio configurations (12.7: 1, 38: 1, 115: 1 and 344: 1). Although not typical, it is possible for both sides to be combined with different gear ratios. There are two possible output axle positions (only one output position possible for any given gear ratio).

The output shafts included in this kit are 3 mm hex axles 10 cm (about four inches) from end to end. The axles we carryTamiya Wheelworks with any of the following; It gives you many options for the speed of your robot. Low voltage motors operate at 3-6 volts and boost them up to a few amps.DRV8833 Stepper Motor Drivermakes them excellent candidates for. Motor overheating, even at very low voltages, can be due to excessive stopping. We recommend using stop detection sensors or monitoring your robot to make sure it doesn't stop for more than a few seconds each time. See the documentation section for engine specifications.

 

Note:The double gearbox is a kit; assembly is required. To use the kit in robotics projects, you must connect the motors to your own robot controller.
