Magnetic Ignition Switch - Door Sensor
This sensor is essentially a reed switch wrapped in an ABS plastic shell. Normally the reed is in the 'open' position (no connection between the two wires). The other half is a magnet. When the magnet is more than 13mm away, the reed switch is closed. It is usually used for a door, window, or objects that want to be checked for open, so it has connection tabs and screws. In addition to the use of screws, it is also possible to use with tapes on it.
